When operating on the upper arm inboard bolts discard them and tighten new bolts to 115 Nm (85 ft. lbs.) while installing. You should apply either a tie strap to the wheel knuckle and trailing arm combination or select an appropriate holding device while supporting the exhaust system with a jack stand. Place the exhaust system on a suitable jack while you detach it from the crossmember exhaust hanger isolator. Replace the six crossmember bolts with new ones which you should tighten to 103 Nm (76 ft. lbs.) after positioning them correctly. Use the jack to lower it until you can remove the crossmember before performing the installation which requires following the previous removal steps in reverse order. Perform the required check and adjustment of rear toe before concluding the process.
