Starting the repair of the rear window wiper motor requires removing the liftgate interior trim panel first. You need to remove the rear wiper arm nut and then uninstall the rear wiper arm. First disconnect the electrical connectors before taking out the screws which fasten the rear wiper module. Following this remove the rear wiper module from its position. Place the rear wiper module on the liftgate before using screws to secure it while tightening them to 10 Nm resistance. Secure the electrical connectors in place while installing the rear wiper seal inside the liftgate glass by positioning its indicator to match the white dot. The rear wiper arm needs to be installed while tightening the secure nut to 20 Nm (15 lb-ft). Before finishing install the liftgate interior trim panel and test the rear wiper cycle for correct alignment.
