How to service the intake air duct on 2006 Ford Ranger?

The service process for the intake air duct starts when you disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor wiring pushpin while removing the crankcase ventilation tube quick connect coupling. Before continuing service the intake air duct start by opening the two clamps to detach the engine air cleaner outlet pipe. During reinstallation always tighten the outlet pipe to 3 Nm (27 lb-in). Visual inspection of the ACL intake duct and outlet tube needs to be performed prior to returning it to service after taking it out for installation.
