Start by disconnecting the ground cable of the battery and then remove the electrical connector from the knock sensor. The knock sensor bolt must be removed before lifting out the sensor. To install the sensor follow the reverse steps of removal while torquing the bolt to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
