Service technicians must loose the clamp and separate the isolator from the hanger followed by removal of the extension pipe for Expedition models or the resonator for Navigator models before tightening the clamp to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.) forces. You should proceed with removing the 4 nuts and 2 stabilizer bar brackets after which you can let the bar hang from the links and tighten to 55 Nm (41 ft. lbs.) during the repair.
