To install the line-to-reservoir on the 3.0L engine, users must first remove the bolt and detach the electrical harness retainer from the pressure line bracket before tightening the new connection to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.). The next step requires removal of RH cylinder head bolts and steering gear bolt from the pressure line bracket before tightening the new connection to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.). You should remove the banjo bolt from the steering gear before taking out the pressure line and discard the bolt with its seals then tighten the new connection to 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.).
