How to service the Coolant Temperature Sensor on 2006 Mercury Mountaineer?

First, disconnect battery ground cable and drain cooling system to service Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor. Next, un-attach the electrical connector to the ECT sensor and pull off the clip and sensor. In order to install it, the steps followed during the removal must be reversed.
