Climb to the upper shock absorber nut and washer at the engine compartment to remove the upper nut and washer together with the bushing for discard. The upper nut needs tightening to 40 Nm during reinstallation. Lift the vehicle by a hoist into NEUTRAL gear while you uninstall then dispose the lower nut and washer before torquing the new lower nut to 80 Nm (59 ft. lbs.) tightness.
