How to service and repair the water pump on 2007 Ford Five Hundred?

To change the water pump, drain the cooling system, take out the air cleaner assembly and unplug the thermostat housing. Take the thermostat housing and o-ring off. Lose the hose of the coolant pump, dismount the pump and the bolts. Install new seals, tightening bolts to required torque, and fill the cooling system.
