How to remove the front bumper cover on 2007 Ford Focus?

The first step in front bumper cover removal involves removing 3 pin-type retainers and the radiator air deflector. Remove the front bumper cover only when turn signal lamp electrical connectors need to be detached. The first step requires removal of the 2 radiator grille pin-type retainers as well as the radiator grille itself. Position the vehicle into neutral gear before installing it on a hoist where you will remove the radiator lower air deflector. You must remove the 2 fender splash shield bolts followed by the 6 front bumper cover bolts from the fender while tightening all bolts to 5 Nm (44 lb-in) upon installation. Disconnect the side turn signal lamp electrical connectors while also removing electrical connectors for fog lamps if they exist. Detach all two pin-type retainers and disconnect the bumper cover from the radiator grille opening panel before you remove the front bumper cover. Lower the front bumper cover and open up its connection from the radiator splash shield. Set the installation in reverse sequence after removing the components.
