The windowshield should not receive adhesive contact because it impacts bonding, therefore continue with removal steps. For manual window regulators users must connect the window regulator handle but power window systems require the connection of the door glass operating switch electrical connector. The installation process requires the two door window glass clamp bolts to be removed before tightening them to 8 Nm (71 lb-in). Support the window glass at its opening near the top edge and lower the regulator before removing the glass from the regulator carefully by keeping the glass supported with proper hooks at that height. Secure the seven bolts that fix the window regulator and motor with a torque of 7 Nm (62 lb-in) when performing installation. The complete installation requires the execution of the removal steps in reverse order.
