How to Ensure Proper Installation of the Pressure Plate on 2007 Ford Focus?

In order to service the clutch disc and pressure plate, take off the transaxle and loosen the pressure plate bolts. Wipe surfaces using alcohol based solvent. Install a clutch aligner to centralize the clutch disc and then mount it to the flywheel using new bolts, and tighten them in a star pattern to 29 Nm. Reinstall the transaxle.
