How to service and repair the radiator on all on 2007 Ford Focus?

Service and repair of all radiators requires first positioning vehicles on a hoist with NEUTRAL position then disconnecting the battery ground cable. The service process begins by disconnecting both dual electric cooling fan electrical connectors followed by emptying the cooling system fluid. Lower the cooling fan motors along with their shroud through retainer brackets by disassembling their retaining points from the vehicle. Start by disconnecting the electrical connector of the horn followed by unclamping and removing both upper and lower radiator hoses. The lower radiator splash shield must be removed by taking out its 5 pushpins. Air-conditioned vehicles require the condenser to be unfastened before it can be supported. The wires requiring removal must start with the detachment of the retaining clip from its mounting position on the support bracket of the radiator. The automatic transmission fluid cooler must be detached from the RH brackets holding its sides before the LH bracket. Support the fluid cooler through this process step. The procedure for removing the lower core support starts with removing its 4 securing bolts which must be tightened back to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.) before reassembly. Finish the installation by reinstalling the radiator followed by its correct reattachment procedure and then filling and bleeding the cooling system.
