Start the service of exterior rear door handle by taking off the rear door latch. An individual should maintain grip on the bezel cap when using a T-5 torx socket to loosen the bezel cap bolt in order to safeguard the door from potential damage. After loosening the bolt switch the exterior door handle behind its position to extract it with the exterior door handle gasket. Begin by disconnecting the door handle reinforcement bolt so you can take out the reinforcement rod which exists in the interior chamber of the door. Remove the bezel cap from the bezel before Taking out the bezel cap bolt. Install the exterior door handle reinforcement by placing it within the door before torquing the reinforcement bolt to 7 Nm (62 lb-in). Position the exterior door handle gasket before installing both the exterior door handle and the reinforcement bolt. Fasten the bezel to its cap bolt while torquing it to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft). Fitting the exterior door handle in front position followed by attaching the bezel cap to the bezel completes the rear door latch installation.
