The exterior door handle and door latch must be properly installed and tightened first before installing the exterior door handle actuating rod with its yellow clip while letting the rod maintain free movement before quieting it inside the door latch. Position the front door lock cylinder rod together with the pawl onto the door lock cylinder then slide the metal clip. Reinstall the window glass clamp bolts while positioning the window at the maximum rearward angle and tighten them to 8 Nm (71 lb-in). The door module grommet should be pushed through before connecting the electrical connectors and installing the watershield then placing the interior door handle before loosely installing the bolt and finally installing the front door interior trim panel while centering the inside door handle alignment pins and tightening the interior door handle bolt to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
