2007 Ford Fusion Radiator Parts Q&A

  • Q: How to service and repair the radiator on all on 2007 Ford Fusion?
A: The radiator servicing process starts with draining the cooling system from all vehicles. The first step requires removal of the cooling fan motor as well as shroud before proceeding to disconnect the power steering hose retainer from the radiator. Begin service by removing the upper radiator hose together with its retainer from the radiator then disconnect the radiator-to-degas bottle hose following. Disconnection of automatic transmission cooling tubes from the radiator requires 30 Nm tightness for reinstallation. After disconnecting the lower radiator hose from the radiator you should lift the tabs from the upper radiator support while placing the radiator in front of the engine. Detach the pushpin-type retainer linking the A/C condenser to the radiator before compressing the tabs and pulling the A/C condenser away from the radiator in order to remove the radiator. The new radiator installation requires the reverse of removal steps followed by completing the cooling system filling then bleeding process.
