Start the servicing work by unfastening the brake drum then severing the parking brake cable from its lever attachment. The brake shoe removal needs to focus on the primary shoe thus you should proceed with that selection. Use the retainer again to draw both parking brake cable and conduit from within the brake backing plate. Reverse the removal process by locking down the retainers then install the parking brake cable according to the adjustment specifications.
