Unfasten the two mounting bolts on the shift knob by sliding downward the lower shift knob bezel. Vehicles with light bulbs should have their light disconnected from the prndl bezel whereas vehicles with led illumination require disconnecting the led electrical connector. The removal process for vehicles equipped with tc switch includes disconnecting the tc switch electrical connector while simultaneously removing the wiring harness retainer from the shift knob housing. Users should release three tabs that will enable them to take off the prndl bezel, shift knob, and knob bezel. The tc switch should be installed by passing its wiring harness through both the shift knob bezel and the prndl bezel while making sure all three locking tabs are locked into position.
