The service of Engine Oil Pressure (EOP) Switch begins with hoisting the vehicle onto a rack while placing the transmission in NEUTRAL position. The right-hand side splash guard needs five bolts removing while torque settings should be at 9 Nm for installation. You must first disconnect the electrical connector from the oil pressure switch before removing the unit in which you should tighten it to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.) throughout the installation phase. Reverse the removal actions and apply thread sealant on the oil pressure switch threads during installation.
