  A: The first step for intake manifold servicing requires removal of the air cleaner outlet pipe followed by detachment of knock sensor (KS) electrical connector and positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) tube and brake booster vacuum hose and main vacuum harness fitting and evaporative emissions (EVAP) tube and exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system module electrical connector. The next step requires retrieving the wiring harness retainer and removing the EGR system module vacuum fitting before loosening the insert to separate the exhaust manifold-to-EGR system module tube from the EGR system module while tightening it to 34 Nm (25 ft. lbs.) torque. Release the throttle position sensor electrical connector as well as the electronic throttle body electrical connector starting with the disconnection of a retaining nut to separate the wiring harness bracket from the electronic TB. Reinstall the bracket with a torque of 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
