In order to service the intake manifold, unplug the battery ground cable and take off a number of items, such as the air cleaner outlet pipe and EGR system module. Disconnect throttle position sensor and electronic throttle body connectors, intake manifold and gaskets. Reconstruction is by reversing the process and tightening of bolts to 11 Nm.
