    A: Begin the fluid filter service and repair of the 4R70E/4R75E automatic transaxle/transmission by putting the vehicle in neutral position then hoisting it. After draining all transmission fluid you should remove the fluid pan bolts before pulling them out. The first step involves removing the transmission fluid pan with its gasket followed by equal downward force that separates the transmission fluid filter and seal.
