How to remove the front Center Console Base on 2008 Ford Expedition?

To access the front floor console first set the shifter to neutral while using the parking brake and moving the front seats forward. Unscrew the two bolts at the back of the front floor console and re-tighten them to 8 lb-ft during reinstallation. Lower the front seats to their full extent before you detach both front bolts along with their protective caps and then torque them to 11 Nm (8 lb-ft). Separate the shifter trim ring from its location and remove both items to access the front floor console tray mat and screw. Use your fingers to put aside the gear shift lever indicator bezel until you can unlock its four clips. You must disconnect the shifter cable and tighten the front floor console front screws to 7 Nm (62 lb-in) before reassembly. You should unplug all front floor console electrical connectors while later loosening and retightening the bulkhead electrical connector bolt with 3 Nm torque (27 lb-in) during assembly. Disconnect the bulkhead electrical connector next with all other electric connections. Uninstall the front floor console in reverse order of installation steps.
