You must position the backrest in an upward direction to access two bolts. Start with the latch-to-cushion frame bolt and the hinge-to-cushion frame bolt before removal. During installation of the third row seat padding you must torque these bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft). Moving to under the cushion frame front section, use the studs to free the cushion trim cover allowing access to the two cushion pivot link assembly-to-cushion frame nuts. Unscrew the two mentioned nuts to separate the cushion assembly and fasten them back to 22 Nm (16 lb-ft) torque. Finish the installation by performing an inverse procedure of removal.
