After removing the rearward lower arm outboard bolt the technician can lower the rear lower arm and remove the jack to extract the spring. Check the upper and lower spring seats for defects then substitute them if needed. Place the upper spring seat correctly before tightening the springs for installation so they sit at the upper and lower spring seats. Safety goggles protect as you push the spring into position within the upper spring mount and lower arm. The spring must rest against both spring stops and be detectable through the drain hole before you rotate it clockwise if neccessary. The rearward lower arm outboard bolt installation requires delay until a later operation. A suitable jack will allow you to lift the rear lower arm and enable you to install the rearward lower arm outboard bolt before tightening it until it becomes snug. Install the stabilizer links with their respective spacers before installing the nut and bushings along with a torque of 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.). After installing the tire and wheel back onto the vehicle let it rest on the tires and wheels before completing bolt torquing on the outboard rearward lower arm bolt to 115 Nm (85 ft. lbs.).
