Disconnect the electrical wiring from both heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) and catalyst monitor sensor. The service requires right-hand side exhaust Y-pipe removal of bolts together with flagnuts and gasket from assembly-to-muffler and tailpipe connections while discarding these components. The service begins with removing the transmission mount and isolator-to-transmission bolt and left-hand exhaust Y-pipe-to-right-hand side of exhaust Y-pipe nuts which are then disposed of. Leaning the right-hand side of the exhaust Y-pipe on a suitable jack you should loosen but not remove its right-hand side exhaust Y-pipe-to-exhaust manifold nuts.
