    A: The service process for the lower intake manifold starts by draining the engine cooling system then taking away both valve covers. Begin by unfastening three fluid calibrations including the upper radiator hose and heater hose and coolant bypass hose followed by the removal of engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor electrical connector and the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor electrical connector with the wiring retainer disconnected from the stud bolt. First disconnect the fuel injector electrical connectors followed by setting the engine wiring harness aside before you release the fuel pressure and trouble-free disconnect the fuel tube spring lock coupling. The rocker arm bolts require loosening after you mark the push rod positions because this determines their original installation locations to avoid accelerated wear. Remove all push rods together with lower intake manifold bolts before you slowly detach the manifold sealant from the cylinder block. Subsequently remove the complete manifold. Clean both sealing surfaces using a plastic tool rather than using abrasive or metal tools that might damage the surfaces. Throw away the intake manifold gaskets along with end seals before cleaning begins. Apply silicone gasket remover together with metal surface prep for cleaning the sealing area followed by thorough drying. Position the new intake manifold gaskets and end seals correctly after you apply silicone gasket and sealant drops to the four seams between the cylinder block and cylinder head. After positioning the lower intake manifold in place you should install and gradually tighten the bolts from 15 Nm (11 lb-ft) and to final torque of 32 Nm (24 lb-ft). Secure the push rods to their place before applying torque force of 32 Nm (24 lb-ft) to the rocker arm bolts. First reattach the fuel tube along with fuel injector electrical wires and afterward install the CKP sensor electrical connection and its wiring retainer and the ECT sensor electrical wire. To finish the work, reinstall the upper radiator hose then the heater hose and coolant bypass hose before adding both valve covers and performing a cooling system fill-up and bleed.
