The procedure to change the front brake rotor is to first remove the tire and the wheel making sure that the caliper is not left dangling on the hose. Get rid of the caliper bolts and brake disc screw. Clean up the hub, lubricate with an anti-seize lubricant, put in the new disc and screw it on. Install new bolts to clamp the caliper.
