How to service and repair the Washer Reservoir and Washer Pump on 2008 Ford Taurus?

In order to maintain the windshield washer pump and reservoir, raise the vehicle in neutral position, take off the required splash shields, and unconnect electric connectors. When re-installing, drain the reservoir, excavate it and tighten fasteners to 7 Nm. The pumps should not be turned on until the reservoir is filled to avoid failure of the pump.
