Begin by taking out six nuts which secure the RH exhaust manifold before trashing both the nuts and the gasket. You should clean the RH exhaust manifold and then remove six RH exhaust manifold studs while discarding all of them. The use of plastic scrapers should replace metal scrapers and wire brushes or abrasive tools because they can make leaks happen through surface scratching or gouging.
