Start with eliminating the rear door trim panel followed by placing the water shield safely to the side. Begin by removing three door latch securing bolts before setting the latch component to the side. The retightening action during replacement should stop at 12 Nm (9 lb-ft). Begin by opening the clip to both disconnect the exterior actuating rod of the door handle and disconnect the electrical wires. Remove the rear door latch after you position the cable cover aside and release both the conduit and interior door handle actuating cable. The exterior door handle and door handle actuating rod must be relaxed through complete exterior door handle rod extension before you close the clip. The reverse order of removal steps should be applied to finish the installation.
