2008 Lincoln Navigator Turn Signal Switch Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to service and repair the turn signal switch on 2008 Lincoln Navigator?
A: A technician should first remove three screws which enable freeing the top retaining clips and then detach the lower steering column opening cover. The upper and lower steering column shrouds require removal of their three screws and power tilt switch electrical connector must be unfastened. The process starts by using manual tilt vehicles to fully expand the gear selector cover toward the steering column shrouds and removing both upper and lower steering column shrouds after taking out three screws. First disconnect the electrical connector of the multi-function switch followed by removal of two screws that fasten the multi-function switch before tightening the installation screws to 1 Nm (9 lb-inch). Divide the procedure by running the opposite installation steps to finish the process.
