Use pliers to unfasten the clamp on the return hose then detach it from the steering gear-to-fluid cooler return hose before you disconnect the steering gear-to-fluid cooler return hose from the return line at the steering gear using its clamp. The two bolts securing the return hose bracket should be removed from the subframe but installed again at 9 Nm torque. The completion process requires you to reverse the removal procedure while filling the power steering system.
