How to Service and Repair the Power Steering Hose from the Steering Gear to the Fluid Cooler on Ford Edge?

One must start the power steering line maintenance by putting the vehicle in NEUTRAL position on a hoist. Power steering fluid must be sucked from the reservoir using appropriate suction equipment. Initiate the process by taking out both the four pushpin retainers and the right-hand splash shield. The power steering fluid cooler hose requires disconnection from its return line through clamp release before removing the steering gear return line hose using a clamp release method. When reinstalling the power steering return hose bracket to the subframe use bolts that need tightening to 9Nm (80inch lbs). Reverse all the steps of removal to install the components while filling the power steering system with fluid.
