2009 Ford Edge Turn Signal Switch Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to service and repair the turn signal switch on 2009 Ford Edge?
A: Begin servicing the turn signal switch by releasing the upper steering column shroud through a combination of pressing its sides inward followed by a upward lift before removing the shroud. The service worker must first untighten the tilt lever before removing the three screws which secure the lower steering column shroud and lifting off both the shroud and tilt lever. First detach the electrical connector on the multifunction switch before removing the two screws securing the switch and finally ejecting it. The installation process will conclude by performing the opposite procedure implemented when removing components.
