How to remove and install a Flywheel on 2009 Ford Explorer Sport Trac?

Removal of the flexplate can be achieved by removing the transmission at first and then by removing the 8 bolts that hold the flexplate in place. Install new bolts using torque-to-yield bolts. Tighten in three steps: first 13 Nm, 50 Nm and then 90 degrees more. Install the transmission again.
