The technician detaches the wire harness clip from the A/C compressor discharge fitting stud followed by disconnection of the fitting using a wrench tool to remove the nut. Both the O-ring seal and gasket seal will be discarded. The technician should use 15 Nm torque (133 lb-in) when tightening the fitting during reassembly. Next separate the condenser inlet jumper line fitting nut before disconnecting its fitting while discarding both seals and ensure it reaches 15 Nm (133 lb-in) torque when reinstalling. To detach the condenser inlet fitting you must first remove the compressor-to-condenser discharge line and then disconnect the A/C pressure transducer electrical connector. After positioning the RH radiator air deflector aside by removing its pin-type retainer you can proceed with unbolting the condenser inlet fitting which requires discarding the O-ring and gasket seals during installation stage. Tighten the fitting to 15 Nm (133 lb-in). The installation requires running the removal steps in reverse order while adding new gasket seals and O-ring seals to each fitting point and inserting the correct quantity of clean PAG oil into the refrigerant system. The last stage includes evacuating the refrigerant system followed by leak detection and refrigerant charging.
