How to Service and Repair an A/C Hose on Ford F-150?

Start HVAC hose/line servicing by removing the battery combined with the battery tray. A correct procedure should be used to discharge and recover the refrigerant. Detach the condenser to evaporator line spring lock coupling which is present on the A/C evaporator core and next remove the condenser lower fitting while maintaining control of the line through the use of a back up wrench to avoid hardware damage. Detach both components of the suction accumulator bracket clamp bolt and the line bracket nut before extracting the condenser to evaporator line. To install reverse the previous steps while applying PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil (R-134a Systems) F7AZ-19589-DA (Motorcraft YN-12-C) or a Ford-compatible equivalent specification WSH-M1C231-B (PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil) to the O-ring seal.
