The service area should maintain cleanliness to avoid contamination which enables successful removal of TSS along with intermediate shaft speed sensor through bolt removal followed by sensor removal. First apply transmission fluid on the O-ring and put the TSS and intermediate shaft speed sensor into place following bolt installation to 9 Nm (80 lb-in). You should reconnect the TSS with the intermediate shaft speed sensor connector last.
