How to Service the Camshaft Position Sensor for the 6.8L Engine on 2009 Ford F-350 Super Duty?

The 6.8L engine Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor requires disconnection of its electrical connector as the first step of service. Before installation of the new sensor remove the bolt fastening the CMP sensor then take out the sensor. During new sensor installation you should apply clean engine oil on the O-ring seal before setting the sensor into position. To finish the sensor installation you should tighten the bolt to 10 Nm (89 lb-in) force before reversing the removal process.
