So that the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) can be serviced, it is necessary to lift the vehicle in neutral. Unscrew the electrical connector and take off HO2S with socket and penetrating lubricant. Apply high-temperature nickel anti-seize on the threads of the new sensor, screw on to 46 Nm (34 lb-ft) and re-connect the electrical connector.
