  A: The first step to servicing or repairing the HVAC condenser core of all vehicles involves disassembly of the lower radiator air deflector. Remove the refrigerant before you disconnect the horn assembly electrical connector and remove the wire harness pin-type retainers from the lower radiator support. First disconnect the condenser fitting then remove the outlet and inlet fitting nuts before you discard both seals and gaskets and finally tighten new fittings to 15 Nm (133 lb-in) torque settings upon assembly. A suitable jackstand should support the cooling module at the lower radiator support through placement of multiple shop towels or similar materials which will protect both components from damage. The process requires the cooling module to maintain its position during jackstand lowering to remove the lower radiator support that will need to be tightened to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft) upon completing installation.
