How to Service and Repair the Automatic Transmission Shift Knob on 2009 Ford Focus?

To fix the shifter in the automatic transmission, pull the armrest up and use the parking brake to release the center console trim. Unscrew the TCS connector, push down the shroud of the shift knob and remove the knob. Installation- Simply re-clamp the knob, re-connect the TCS and re-attach the trim cover.
