To fix the rear parking brake cable, one has to take the floor console off, unplug cables, and lift the car. Hold up the muffler, detach exhaust parts and put in new gasket. Take out the heat shield and parking brake cable brackets and disconnect and take out the cables. Uninstall and reverse the process and re-adjust the cable.
