A vehicle service professional should start back up lamp switch repair by placing the vehicle in NEUTRAL position with hoisting support. Detach the electrical connection before taking out the reversing lamp switch. Tighten the switch into place when installing it on the T5OD transmission to 37 Nm (27 lb-ft). When working on back up switches fitted to TR3650 or TR6060 transmissions tighten them to reach 27 Nm (20 lb-ft). The service process requires returning the vehicle to the original state by performing the reverse steps of removal.
