How to service and repair the Shift Knob for a 3.5L engine on 2009 Lincoln MKZ?

In order to fix the shift knob on 3.5L engine cars, take out the upper console panel and trim ring. Unplugging the light or LED, TCS connector and wiring harness. Take away shift knob and bezel and replace it. Lastly: Replace components and screw in the shift knob.
