How to service and repair the A/C Hose from the condenser to the receiver drier on 2009 Mercury Mariner?

Start the condenser to receiver drier line service procedure by recovering the refrigerant. The first step is to eliminate the DC/DC converter followed by separation of the front bumper cover. The compressor manifold and tube bracket nut must be removed before installation while securing it to a torque of 8 Nm (71 lb-in). Located at the condenser outlet you must remove its retaining nut while you discard both the O-ring seal and its nut. The evaporator outlet line requires the removal of its fitting nut followed by the disposal of both seals while the reinstallation torque should be set to 15 Nm (133 lb-in). After discarding both the O-ring seal and gasket seal from the auxiliary evaporator outlet line install it with 15 Nm (133 lb-in) torque when finished. Transfer the receiver/drier inlet fitting nut and unfasten the connection so you can get rid of the O-ring and gasket seals before retightening it to 15 Nm (133 lb-in). As part of the installation process reverse the disassembly procedure while applying new gasket and O-ring seals and introducing the correct amount of clean PAG oil in the refrigerant system. The refrigerant system must undergo evacuation then leak testing and receive a charging process.
