How to Service the Rear Crankshaft Seal on 2009 Mercury Milan?

Vehicle in neutral on hoist, take off flexplate/flywheel. Drain the oil; replace drain plug to 28 Nm. Take out oil pan then six bolts and rear seal / retainer. Install seal; installer; tighten installer bolts to 10 Nm. Clean, put on 2.5 mm sealant, replace pan (10/20 Nm sequence), replace flexplate/flywheel, replenish oil.
