Before installation of the new nuttors attach the front tire along with wheel before removing the axle shaft nut which should be installed by torqueing at 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) during assembly. The mechanic should detach the caliper, pads, and anchor plate assembly following strict procedures which prevent brake hose damage while discarding bolts then securing the assembly with wire before tightening bolts to 122 lb-ft at reinstallation. Rely on the front wheel hub remover to press the outboard constant velocity (CV) joint until it becomes loose in the hub before discarding the tie-rod nut and installing the new nut with a torque of 103 Nm (76 lb-ft). The installation requires separation of the tie rod from the knuckle through C-frame and screw methods before stabilizer bar link nut replacement with tightening of the new nut and grommet to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft).
