The cooling system drainage followed by air cleaner assembly removal enables servicing and repairing operations of fan blade components and both the fan clutch and shroud. Woman first removes the plastic rivet retainers and air deflector before disconnecting the upper radiator hose and overflow hose from the radiator. Acounterclockwise rotation of the large clutch assembly nut with its right-hand thread is what permits its removal process. Detach the fan and fan clutch from the water pump pulley after which you can remove the bolts to lift the fan shroud, fan, and fan clutch from the vehicle. Rise the vehicle while supporting its weight and remove the underbody splash shield if it exists followed by separating the lower radiator hose. You should first compress the clamps then slide them away from the radiator while twisting the transmission oil cooler hoses for removal. To begin lower the vehicle and remove the bolts fastening the support brackets to the radiator support and lift the brackets upward to detach them from the radiator. Remove the radiator as the final step of the vehicle operation. To install the radiator as well as tighten hose clamps take all steps in reverse order from removal while replacing the shrink clamps with hose clamps during assembly.
